Welcome to another edition of "The Chronicles of Showtime. In this issue I will publish two of my favorite matches in each PPV of the WWE in 2008 and write what happened in it. There are two parts of this article. This is the first part and the second part will be published next week.

Royal Rumble 2008

© Randy Orton vs Jeff Hardy (WWE title match)

Randy Orton and Intercontinental Champion, Jeff Hardy was a bit of history at this point and Jeff Hardy was very angry because Matt Hardy Randy Orton in RAW kicks. Jeff Hardy came into this game and gave his best and I honestly believe that this game was pretty good. We saw some action in the outer ring and the match was pretty good. In the end Randy Orton won by dodging a twist of fate and the delivery of an RKO.

The Royal Rumble 2008 match

This game was pretty amazing to me. I never would have thought that John Cena would win the Royal Rumble. This game was incredible. We have seen some great action, two legends and a return. At the end I was so sure that "The Game" Triple H would win it all, but which John Cena made his return to WWE after of injury and eliminates "The Game" Triple H winning the Royal Rumble. This adds to the story John Cena Royal Rumble.

No Way Out 2008

Smackdown / ECW Elimination Chamber

Batista, Undertaker, Finlay, Big Daddy V, The Great Khali and MVP fought this match in a match against WWE World Champion Heavyweight Wrestlemania 24. The first two superstars who came into this match were the last two superstars who are in this game. Batista and Undertaker were two superstars. When I removed all the others, "The Phenomenon" and "The Animal" fighting among themselves. At the end Undertaker was able to win the game. Undertaker reversed the Batista Bomb on a Tombstone Piledriver and got the win. Undertaker went to Wrestlemania 24.

Triple H vs Jeff Hardy vs Shawn Michaels vs JBL vs Umaga vs Chris Jericho (Elimination Chamber)

This game was incredible. There were six fighters with different techniques and basically the whole game was unbelievable. Umaga received a major beating in this match. After I removed JBL brought two steel chairs and used quite well in this match. In the end, Jeff Hardy and Triple H were the last two superstars in this match. They fought for the prize, and was a match against WWE Champion at Wrestlemania 24. Finally Triple H delivered a pedigree on the steel chair and Jeff Hardy got the pin. Triple H went to Wrestlemania 24.

Money in the Bank

At Wrestlemania 24, CM Punk, John Morrison, MVP, Carlito, Shelton Benjamin, Mr. Kennedy and fought personally think the best money in the bank. John Morrison showed some great wrestling action when he jumped from the turnbuckle to the outside delivery of a back flip while holding a ladder. Later in the match saw the return Matt Hardy. Matt Hardy came out and attacked MVP MVP, while at the stairway. Chris Jericho also saw the implementation of the Walls of Jericho on the ladder. This party as I said was the best money in the bank match I've ever seen. At the end CM Punk grabbed the briefcase and won the game.

Ric Flair vs Shawn Michaels (Stipulation: If Ric Flair losses the match, to be withdrawn)

This game was a game that I think Wrestling fans will remember forever. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair and "Mr. WrestleMania" Shawn Michaels was a historic match. Ric Flair was inducted into the Hall of Fame the night before Wrestlemania 24 and in this game was not a wrestler, Ric Flair was a legend going into this game. At the end of the match Ric Flair had to retire because he lost to Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels switch the music delivered chin to Ric Flair and got the covered. This was the match of Ric Flair retirement.

Backlash 2008

Cambric vs Shawn Michaels (special guest referee Chris Jericho)

This game was pretty good. Batista wanted a match against Shawn Michaels Shawn Michaels ended because the career of Ric Flair retirement match at Wrestlemania 24. We can not also forget that this was the game that started it all "Y2J" Chris Jericho and "HBK" Shawn Michaels story. In this match Shawn Michaels injured his leg during the game, but still able to deliver a Switch Chin Music on Batista to win the match. More Jericho Later after a couple of months, Shawn Michaels called a liar and crashed head of a television for the Highlight Reel.

JBL vs Triple H vs John Cena vs Randy Orton © (match-Fatal-Four Way Elimination WWE title)

I think this game was the best match of the evening. Triple H defeated three other men to become in the new WWE Champion. Triple H not only won the WWE Championship Triple H, but also ended the "Age of Orton." JBL was the first person successfully eliminated in this game and after he saw three impressive wrestlers fight for the title. While dinner was fit JBL, Randy Orton gave his shot to the Dinner and head of the wrestler John Cena was beside them are eliminated. Later in "The King of Kings" Triple H defeated Randy Orton to become the champion 12 times the world.

Judgement Day 2008

Triple H © vs. Randy Orton (Steel Cage WWE title match)

On Judgement Day, Triple H and Randy Orton met in a Steel Cage Match impressive. Randy Orton was sure he would win the WWE title and bring back "The Age of Orton" but was he did not success in completing this objective. "The King of Kings" Triple H was able to defeat Randy Orton is one long party for the delivery of a Pedigree Randy Orton and get the count of 3. Triple H retained the WWE Title tonight.

Undertaker vs. Edge (World Heavyweight Championship)

Weight World Championship Heavy was vacant at the end of the night remained that way. Undertaker and Edge faced each other in a brutal game, but in the end, though Undertaker won the match, Vickie Guerrero held the title vacant. Edge and Undertaker fought outside the ring and at the last second, Undertaker was able to return to the ring, but Edge got told. Undertaker was champion, but Vickie Guerrero came out and said that this comparison can only be won by pinfall or submission. Undertaker won but was not named the new Champion WWE World Heavyweight.

One Night Stand 2008

John Cena vs. JBL (First Blood match)

I'm not a fan of John Cena or JBL fan but I have to say that this game was pretty good. John Cena and JBL had an unbelievable game against each other and John Cena won. John Cena uses a steel chain and run the STFU on JBL in use. John Bradshaw Layfield was not able to get out of the STFU and he started bleeding. John Cena was the winner of this contest.

Edge vs Undertaker (TLC match for the World Heavyweight Championship)

In this match, the WWE World Heavyweight Title was vacant and there was no stipulation in this match. GM Vickie Guerrero a stipulation saying that if Undertaker loses this match will be dismissed from the WWE. "The Rated R Superstar" Edge and The Phenom "The Undertaker did his best in this match. With the help of "The Family", Edge was able to win this game. Although Undertaker managed to hold all the "Family "Members that interfered in the match, Undertaker was pushed off a ladder Edge fall into two tables that were above the other two tables. Edge who snatched title and was named the new World Heavyweight Champion WWE.

2008 Night of Champions

This game was one of the main events of the night. It was a good game and I was so happy that Triple H retained. Both Cena and Triple H gave their 100% in this game, but the whole time I thought that Cena would win. Dinner was more action in this game of Triple H. Besides, who had most of the action, Triple H was able to win the game at the end.

I think this game was pretty good But Batista has bolted. Edge Batista had all the time and was able to win the match, but Edge left the ring on the purpose and the referee started counting. Edge hit the referee and the general manager of Smackdown, Vickie Guererro came out and called for a new arbitrator. The new arbitrator and was a nephew of ECW Superstar Vickie, Chavo Guerrero. Cambric before the end of the game picked up Vickie Guerrero and tossed outside the ring. Vickie fell on the whole "Family." Edge took advantage of the situation and hit Batista with the title. Chavo entered the ring as Edge pinned Batista and began to count. 1 …… 2 …… 3 ….. Edge retained the world heavyweight title WWE.
